The New York/Massachusetts electro-synth group Hooray for Earth just released their new album, True Loves this past Tuesday. The album, mixed by Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Massive Attack), surrounds listeners with airy synths, heavy percussion and ambient vocals sung by the band’s front man, Noel Heroux.
“I’m curious about the point of life and how we’re able to change the way people view things. It’s endlessly interesting to me,” says Heroux. ”I guess that’s what Hooray for Earth means.”

The band also released the music video to the title track True Loves, directed by Young Replicant.
